Job Opportunity – General Manager of Seahorse Hospitality Ltd.

Seahorse Hospitality Ltd is a new catering company which will be based on the HQS WELLINGTON. Previous events onboard have included, but not exclusive to: formal dining; conferences; banquets; weddings; festive parties; private celebrations; and with the regularity of monthly members’ lunches. Our regular clientele encompasses the livery world of the City of London, UK and international maritime organisations, Governmental organisations and of course, our valued members’ events.

The General Manager will have the exposure and excitement of helping to form a brand-new catering company. We are looking for someone who has a comprehensive background in the organising and management of both corporate and private events, for up to 200 guests. The General Manager will have line management responsibility of a small permanent team, with further support being provided by the Clerk of HCMM. We are looking to appoint someone with experience in or knowledge of: brand creativity and designing; exceptional ICT literacy and competency; an eye for marketing opportunities and website editing.

This will be a demanding post and the successful candidate will be financially and English language literate (written and verbal), self-motivated, adaptable and a good track record in the management and delivery of Health and Safety policies. Experience of Royal protocol matters will be advantageous to an applicant.
